Make an Immediate Impact
Support Moms When They Need It Most
Your donation helps ensure that single moms with babies under 18 months can receive real, hands-on support at home — even when paying for help on their own isn’t possible.
Right now, Moms Rising Together provides free community matching for all moms. As donations become available, we expand this support by paying helpers directly on behalf of eligible single moms, removing financial barriers during one of the most physically and emotionally demanding seasons of motherhood.
What Your Donation Can Do
Every dollar goes toward real, hands-on help for single moms during one of the hardest seasons of their lives. Here’s what your generosity can make possible:
💧 $10 — A Moment to Breathe
Gives a mom a short break to take a shower, eat a hot meal, or rest for just a moment without holding the baby.
☀️ $40 — A Meaningful Break in a Hard Day
Helps cover a day of in-home support so a single mom can sleep, attend an appointment, or simply reset.
🌿 $200 — Support That Changes the Week
Provides enough funding to offer consistent help across a week, giving a mom space to recover and feel less alone.
💞 $500 — Deeper Ongoing Support
Helps sustain support over multiple visits, so a mom can count on help showing up again and again—not just once.
🏡 $1,000 — Support Through a Hard Season
Helps underwrite an extended stretch of care for a mom navigating an especially demanding season with a baby under 18 months.
🌱 $2,500 — A Safety Net for Many Moms
Creates a shared pool of funds that allows multiple single moms to receive in-home help when they reach their breaking point.
⭐ $5,000+ — A Transformational Gift
Strengthens and stabilizes the program so more moms can be supported more often, and so fewer eligible moms are turned away due to limited funding.
Amounts shown reflect typical impact. Donations are pooled so we can respond where help is needed most.
A Trust-Based Approach
At Moms Rising Together, we believe that mothers are the experts in their own lives. We do not require invasive financial screening or income verification to receive support. The steps involved in seeking help, connecting with a helper, interviewing, and coordinating care already represent a meaningful indication of need.
This approach allows us to:
Remove barriers that prevent moms from asking for help
Preserve dignity, trust, and privacy
Direct donor funds toward actual care, not administrative gatekeeping
We also embrace a pay-it-forward culture. Moms who receive support are always welcome to contribute back to the community in any amount that feels manageable when they are able.
This is how community builds community.
How This Fits Into Our Bigger Vision
Moms Rising Together is built on a three-phase model:
Phase 1: Free community matching for all moms
Phase 2: Donation-funded direct support for single moms with babies under 18 months
Phase 3 (Long-term vision): Workforce development and supported employment for single moms
Your donation directly fuels Phases 1 and 2 today, while helping lay the financial foundation for Phase 3 in the future. As the organization grows, all phases are designed to operate alongside one another, expanding access, stability, and opportunity for moms over time.
Our Commitment to Transparency
Moms Rising Together is a Michigan-incorporated nonprofit organization currently preparing our application for federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
At this time, donations are not yet tax-deductible. Once our tax-exempt status is approved, we will update our site immediately.
You can review exactly how funds are used on our Transparency page.
Why Your Support Matters
The earliest months of motherhood can be isolating, exhausting, and overwhelming — especially for single moms. Your support helps transform good intentions into real help, in real homes, at the moments it’s needed most.
Thank you for choosing to show up for moms in such a meaningful way.
Come back soon to donate!
Moms Rising Together is in its early launch phase — and we’re working hard behind the scenes to complete the legal steps needed to receive tax-deductible donations. We expect to be able to accept donations soon.
